The story, in order

Where this actually started.

A note before this part: it talks about mental health.

  1. Before

My story didn't start in a gym. It started with my mental health.

I was a teen mom, I had my daughter at 19, and for most of my younger life I lived with major depression, anxiety, and low self-worth. There were points where I didn't want to be here. My daughter is the reason I stayed. And for years I thought that was my baseline. I thought wanting to disappear every day was just who I was.

  2. 2016

    The line.

I kept struggling. I abused alcohol. In 2016 I got a DUI, with everything else in my life stable and no reason I could point to. That was the line. I had worked too hard, on my career and for my daughter, to burn it down over old hurts. Depression is living in the past. Anxiety is living in the future. Weightlifting brought me to the present.

If you're in that dark place right now, please reach out to someone. In the U.S. you can call or text 988, any time.

  3. 2017–2019

I found weightlifting. Every rep was me fighting for myself.

I started in the gym taking group classes in 2017, and I kept showing up through 2018. Every rep was me fighting for myself.

In 2019 I did my first online competition. Four months, my first macros, my first recomp. The scale barely moved and my whole body changed. That was the first time I understood that the plan decides what the work turns into.

  4. 2020

    The click.

When COVID shut the gyms I trained at home and I ran, and one day it clicked and I cried, because for the first time I actually felt good. I never thought I'd get to feel that.

I also stopped centering men. Not hating them. I took every ounce of energy I'd been spending on being chosen and put it into me. The white picket fence was never the life I wanted. It was the life I was conditioned to want, and letting it go was a relief. Weightlifting taught me to be selfish in the right way, and I became a sovereign woman because of it.

That's also the year I started coaching other women. Their results are on the homepage.

  5. 2021

    Training like a man.

Heavy squats. Deadlifts. Lift like the guys, eat less, push harder. Everything the industry told me to do, I did it, faithfully. And I was strong. What I got for it was a thick waist and traps. My lower body was strong, but it wasn't shaped the way I wanted. I was doing everything right and building the wrong body. And I have scoliosis in my cervical and lumbar spine, so I've always had to build smart, not just hard. This wasn't smart.

So this is when I switched to the hourglass programs everyone was selling. Lighter weights, higher reps, keep the legs streamlined. It was the opposite mistake, and it's what walked me into 2023.

First prep. Never stepped on stage.

I had trained myself into a Bikini look, sleek and linear, when I was built for Wellness. Wide hips, thick thighs, weight that lives in the lower body. I didn't have enough muscle for the division I belonged in. So I didn't compete. I stopped trying to shrink and started building.

  7. 2024

5th of 20. NPC North American Championships.

I took the year and built. Full glutes, sweeping quads, a tight waist that shows because there's real muscle underneath it. Same bones. Different plan. That year is the reason The Teardrop Method™ exists.

  8. 2025

    The crash.

Perimenopause took my energy, my endurance, my focus, and muscle I had spent years building. The old advice stopped working and my body stopped responding to everything that used to. I spent five months getting my hormones, my cortisol and my metabolic markers right before I touched a program. Fix the terrain first.

  9. 2026

    The rebuild. Then the name.

January to June, on my own programming. Slow and steady, and the muscle came back. Hormones first, then the build. I'm the proof of my own method.

    January to June 2026.

On July 6, 2026 I gave the shape I'd been building a name. The Teardrop Hourglass™. Not the classic hourglass, that one's an X, balanced top to bottom with the legs kept streamlined. The Teardrop is bottom-heavy on purpose. Full, lifted glutes. Sweeping quads and hamstrings carrying the shape. A tight waist sitting above all of it, and an upper body that frames it instead of competing with it. I named it, I built it on my own body, and I built the method that gets you there.

The Proof

2023 to 2026. Same frame.

15 lbs of curves, built on my own frame, with the exact method I coach.

Built, not shrunk.

Why I do this

I want you to look fucking fabulous. That's not the heart of it.

So yes, I preach aesthetics. I love bodybuilding. But the gym gave me my power back and taught me to love myself. I want you to find your strength there too. Your power. Your self-worth. I found my main character energy under a barbell, and I want you to find yours.

Most coaches can only hold one side of this. They're bodybuilding coaches who don't understand hormones, or health coaches who don't know how to engineer a body on purpose. I hold both. That's the whole difference.

And nobody handed me the coaching side. I hired coaches to build my own competition physique. They trained my body. They did not train me to coach. So I took the programming they gave me apart and worked out why every choice was made. I studied what judges told competitors on stage. I studied the feedback I got at my own check-ins. I got obsessed, because you have to be obsessed to be good at anything. In 2025 I made it formal and got credentialed as a bodybuilding and physique coach through NASM. The credential confirmed what I'd already built.

I'm done watching women get handed Level 1 advice. Eat less. Do more cardio. Shrink. That advice keeps you the most compliant client in the room and still not looking like the woman you've become.

A coach is not there to hold your hand and babysit you. I'm here to give you the plan, the science, and the eyes on the whole picture, so you can build the body that matches the woman you already are.

That's Physique Design™. And if you want it, I'm your girl.
